The Writing Process

Students will choose what genre and topic they would like to write about.  Then, using the writing process, they'll draft, revise, edit their piece and hand it in on the given due date. Students have access to student samples of writing for each genre, along with notes for that specific genre.

In order to bring a piece of writing to a final product, students must follow a specific writing process.  This process allows them time to get feedback, make revisions, and make edits to their writing so it is a polished, completed piece.  All papers (rubrics, peer conference sheets, editing check sheets, etc.) are linked at the bottom of the page.
